COMFREL Views the Election 2013

Dear all,

The National Assembly elections 2013 coming is likely to intensify. Why?

• The merging of opposite parties; Human Right Party and Sam Rainsy Party into the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) will be attracting the eyes on voters and heavy weight the election arena.
• The name of opposite leader, Sam Rainsy is going to remove from the official voter list of the National Election Committee (NEC), it is legalized ?
• The new composition of NEC adopted by National Assembly without the will of opposite sides.
• International Community pressure on the returning of opposite party.
