Situation Room on Cambodian Election Day 2013

Dear all,

To reach Objectives:  Joint- Information, Intervention and Assessment on Election 2013,  a Situation Room on Cambodian Election Day 2013 is created, as biggest collaborative platform.

This creation bring genuine and independent Cambodian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) more than 50 CSOs, and other stakeholders, experts and individuals together to a)- pool resources to maximize and b)-to provide a Collaborative Platform ( CP)  for joint  assessment, joint verification of election results intervention and recommendations during the election period.  This includes pre-election day, polling, counting and immediate post-election issues such as complaints, re-election and transfer of power.

Situation Room 2013 is designed to provide the immediate sharing of election-day information from CSO election observers and other groups of stakeholders/international community interested in the Cambodian National Assembly election, while enhancing proactive intervention and rapid response to crises connected to the election -day environment. The Situation Room will be set up outside COMFREL's office with comfortable facilities for period of 26- 29 July 2013.

COMFREL and the situation room appeal to all voters /citizens to observer, report and send pictures of election irregularities or  verbal complaints  to COMFREL’s social media - (COMFREL web, CVV web, email: comfrel@comfrel.org ) and hot line 010/015  802777, 012 43 43 37 or 016 54 43 98 and other hot line.
