Militants Bomb Pakistani Navy Bus in Karachi
A bus carrying Pakistani navy officials was hit by roadside bomb in the port city of Karachi.
This is the third attack on the navy in less than a week.
Four navy officers and one pedestrian were killed in the blast.
At least five people were injured.
It wasn't immediately clear who was behind the attack.
One eyewitness describes the scene.
[Mohammad Nadeem, Eyewitness]:
"We were opening our shop in the morning when the blast occurred. It was a terrible scene. Injured people were lying all around. Then the navy people came, put them in their vehicles and took them away."
Twin attacks carried out on Tuesday were claimed by Taliban insurgents.
Militants have not targeted the navy in the past and security experts say attacks on the navy, seen as a soft target, could be part of a new strategy in widening their violent campaign.
