Cambodia's political institutions and policymaking bodies hold few opportunities for the country's youth, even though they comprise a growing portion of the population. But it is this participation that the country needs in order to develop, a Cambodian economist in New York says. In an interview with VOA Khmer's Im Sothearith, Kem Samathida says that at the same time, Cambodian youth need a better understanding of the countries politics and social issues.
