In July 2013 during Cambodia conducted an election campaigns, COMFREL in cooperation with OneWorld UK has launched a ICT technical platform called, “Ask the Candidates” which allowed voters questioned to political parties by SMS, Email, and social media tools. During implemented the platform, at least 4 registered political parties for election 2013 have tried to answer all questions from the voters. We take noticed that political parties and voters are enjoying with the ICT platform.
After election, COMFREL and OneWorld will set up a new platform calls, “Ask the Member of Parliamentary” that will follow the fulfillment of the elected officials and bring the voter’s concerns to its representatives.
